Cars I have seen driving around Dubai:
Bentley, Maserati, Rolls Royce, Ferarri, Jaguars, Lots of Lexus. Lots of rich people. Also some of the locals are not the best drivers so there are a lot of traffic deaths.
Wall to wall luxury hotels: two Ritz Carltons, the worlds only 6 star hotel, beautiful beaches but there is some stinky stuff in the air here.
On the Jumeirah Beach, I saw 100 feet of storefront windows in one shop selling luxury furs. In the desert, on the beach, get your mink coat.
All week I have been looking at planes taking off and letting out skydivers. This is just 500 yards from hotel. To make it convenient, they built a runway over the water on stilts. Planes take off and land on the over water runway. Yachts are parked just 100 feet from the runway. Too much money.
