We are working in Tampere, Finland. (Pronounced as "Tom Perry" according to someone who lives here). Tampere is about 110 miles NE of Helsinki. We took a train here then picked up a car. Here are some photos of around our hotel. We have Sunday off so I will get to walk around in daytime and get better photos. It snowed a few inches today, it's really slick walking out. I will buy a hat tomorrow.
Tampere is between 2 lakes that are less than 1 mile apart but have 60 feet of difference in lake levels. The river by the hotel moves really fast and is used to generate electricity, there is a lot of industry here powered by the river.
