Notes From Our Travel Department

Wise notes from our travel department:

• Avoid all large gatherings in public squares and at the Al Husseini mosque in Amman on Fridays
• Avoid any political discussions regarding the ruling family, Israel, and Palestinian issues
• Avoid Palestinian and Syrian refugee camps
• Do not travel alone in rural areas
• Avoid the Jordan-Syria and the Jordan-Iraq borders
• Do not photograph any government buildings, military installments,oilfields, or security sites
• Drink bottled water and avoid ice cubes
• Be cautious of uncooked vegetables and unpeeled fruits
• Remain aware of political developments and planned demonstrations

I took about 25 pics of Govt buildings, military installations, pictures of King Abdullah, jeeps with machine guns where the soldiers have told me to stop taking pictures.  Maybe I should change hobbies.
