Bad Moments on India Trip #1

Here are some bad choices we made, things we said and things that have happened so far at half way point if trip. I am usually the person that says the wrong thing but so far I have been good or lucky. I have been writing these down in my engineering notebook but have enough to write about.

1. After wearing ties on Monday & Tuesday, we made decision not to on Wednesday. Here is the official tie count:
Rolta Defense: 9 ties
Rockwell Collins: 0 ties
We must have been forgiven as they served us a good Indian lunch though.

2: As quoted by Paul L. to the Indian Air Force:
"...that's their sacred cow".
As an expert on political correctness, I think that does not seem the thing to say to Indians.

3. Today, as Paul was standing up in front of 9 customers, he opened up a bottle of water and then spilled it all over his suit, table, chair and the wall behind him. A retired Brig. General had to stop Paul from mopping up the wall.

4. After we ate lunch with Rolta and then had to hurry to get to the airport, the driver we had hired for the day was nowhere to be found and did answer his phone. Ajay was mad as driver was eating lunch or sleeping and we had a very tight schedule to get to the airport. I was scared that the driver would get in such a hurry we would get in a wreck.
