For lunch today we drove down the Embassy Row and went to the Italian Embassy where we had to show our passports at the gate to get in. We went into the Italian Embassy and ate Italian food on an outdoor patio. Excellent food cooked by a real Italian and the patio was full of Europeans. I knew that Italy was broke, but did not know that their Ambassador was cooking lunch. Maybe on the other side of the Italian Embassy there was a Pizza Hut sign.
