Friday night after a hard week at work we sat in the sun on a beer patio for a few beers. Then we went to the nearby German place. After ordering sausage and schnitzels, we got a dozen escargot. Might not have done that but the menu described butter, snails and bacon. Wow, this was good! Each snail was in a little bowl of butter and covered with bacon. Plus there was some good bread.
Although we've had some good food here this week, the escargots with the bacon in the butter was the best so far. See photo, yes there was a snail under all of that bacon.
